In an effort to keep my writing muscles limber and free of... the lactic acid of writer's block (metaphor needs work), I've decided to try and write shorter fic more often. As a result of that decision and also of seeing this tumblr post this morning, I am pleased to present: a fic about werewolf!EvS being trapped in a domestic situation.

august cold and dank and wet, besides being named after one of my favourite Flanders and Swann songs (yes I am 27 years old and have favourite F&S songs), is inspired both by that post and also by

sholio's excellent fic The Pack You Need, which I have read at least half a dozen times since joining this fandom in mid-April.

Since it's such a short fic I will refrain from posting a snippet of it here, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

EDIT: Also in Biggles-related news, I bought a copy of Foreign Legionnaire which will soon wing its way into my greedy little hands. Exciting times at Fort Rosanicus('s parents).
