Fic: august cold and dank and wet

In an effort to keep my writing muscles limber and free of... the lactic acid of writer's block (metaphor needs work), I've decided to try and write shorter fic more often. As a result of that decision and also of seeing this tumblr post this morning, I am pleased to present: a fic about werewolf!EvS being trapped in a domestic situation.

august cold and dank and wet, besides being named after one of my favourite Flanders and Swann songs (yes I am 27 years old and have favourite F&S songs), is inspired both by that post and also by sholio's excellent fic The Pack You Need, which I have read at least half a dozen times since joining this fandom in mid-April.

Since it's such a short fic I will refrain from posting a snippet of it here, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

EDIT: Also in Biggles-related news, I bought a copy of Foreign Legionnaire which will soon wing its way into my greedy little hands. Exciting times at Fort Rosanicus('s parents).

It's such a good fic!! And accidentally merged slightly with my memories of Hatchet so there's definitely wolves in my memory when no such thing is in the book...

I'm very much looking forward to Foreign Legionnaire, if nothing else (as you say) I simply have to find out about these aliases.

I am completely DELIGHTED that my werewolf AU stands up to multiple rereadings and also inspires more werewolf fic, I could read it forever. ♥

(Foreign Legionnaire is not without issues but I have a deep and abiding love for it regardless, and have reread some parts a LOT.)
