deeply cursed

So recently I had a hideous idea for a fic, and while I doubt it will ever be fully realised (due to embarassment) I share this excerpt in the spirit of getting things done in September.

look i’m not saying that some people in this fandom are insane. but some people in this fandom could really do with actually reading the books they are posting excerpts of context-free!!!
#vaguepost lmao #some of us care about historical realities <3 hope this helps

Can’t believe we are having this argument again! Some people in this fandom are having a fun time, unlike certain others! Whether we have full context or not I will be continuing to post queer af quotes from MULTIPLE SOURCES which I have in fact read in full and the context makes them more gay, not less <3 hope this helps!
#aviation rpf #<- since you won’t tag it! #op read 'james bigglesworth: from rfc to sap' challenge

in b4 the ‘it was a different time!!!’ commenters come in: yeah it was and gay people existed anyway. if you are going to share a bachelor pad with (at least) three other men for your entire adulthood people are going to assume things (it’s me, i’m people).
op is acting like the quotes they’re referencing are the sort of milquetoast homosocial statements you can find in any ww1 autobio but some of us understand the subtext of a man calling another man the one bright star in a gloomy sky without feeling the need to handwring about upsetting the old guys on the facebook groups
tl;dr:

#still can’t believe they got a source for that quote out of the literal middle of the amazon rainforest #the devil works hard but biggles biographers work harder #aviation rpf
If you enjoyed this you might enjoy my Lord Peter Wimsey modern AU, which has significantly less Spongebob Squarepants references.
