@aroacepilot there’s a mention in rfc to sap, it’s st like ‘besides their more publicised efforts, the air police engaged in covert operations in far flung regions like korea, siberia and northern india’. and like i get korea and india. but SIBERIA?

Also I LOVE the collection of sources and the endless collection of mysteries. Bertie's journals with offhand references to enormous sea creatures OMG just IMAGINE reading them and the THEORIES the fandom might come up with to explain them (Bertie's monocle magnifies things so he sees perfectly ordinary octopuses and freaks out? Secret Biowarfare Squids? Too many blows to the head?)

Everything about this is the best thing ever.

I'm sort of imagining that the events of Charter Pilot were published by Doctor Duck with anonymised figures as his pilots, and the second the fandom realises that the unnamed pilot in those stories is their very own James 'Biggles' Bigglesworth all of them are going to lose their minds.

Glad you enjoyed! It's likely to become an ongoing series as I enjoy writing these posts to unwind. It's fun imagining what sort of wank might arise in this specific historical RPF fandom.
