This is delightful! I love weirdly cheerful between-wars von Stalhein, and Algy & EvS having to interact with each other is always my favorite. Also, Biggles's reaction when he finds out that Algy and EvS had a nice hostage escape adventure that he wasn't invited along for will be epic. (Along with the entire "being alive" thing, obviously ...)
