Celebratory Biggles Icons

Today was the last day of the school year. In celebration at work we watched half of Anastasia and half of The Incredibles (the kids were too rowdy for a whole film). At home to celebrate I screamed into the coatrack for a bit then sat down and edited a crop of Biggles icons (and one Gimlet). Feel free to use these as you see fit.

Preview:

A painting of a stone castle in the desert. A bridge leads from the castle over a deep chasm. A small plane flies through the blue sky in the upper right hand corner. Handwritten text which reads "Come on, Lucille," said Ginger. "Let's go." A pen and ink illustration of two biplanes flying through a cloudy sky. There is a pale grey heart surrounding the two planes, implying that they are in love.

All images have been lovingly borrowed from the Biggles website (the best site of all). I especially like the one of EvS from the back, because it prevents the ongoing issue that no one who illustrated Biggles could figure out how his best nemesis should look.

Huh, I don't have illustrations in that book/story :\ I wonder if it's a different edition.
